I'd have said you've failed to experience the absolute depths of despair

Well, I think speaking of failure or success in the compositional (a terminal composition) space of experience (Experiencing the absolute depths of despair, for example) is (if not idealist) bound to the survival economy on whose ground 'hatred-enveloping racism' or other political survivals and purity industries are spread and fertilized. Experience is the malfunction (multifunction) of cata-, a descent in which depth is an imminent communication, inseparable from descent ... a composition in which one can not extract himself and speaks of failure or success; it is not, however, an empty space, empty of all traces but a mess of multiplying traces which make such contemplations both impossible and dangerous as they may develop (or originate) political and economic survivals (that's to say any kind of unconventional racism, you can't even expect), retrieving one dimension of the composition and con-solidating it. (See Cata-: remarks on depth and darkness, on experience)

until you've realized the ineffectuality of your hatred.

Indeed. Maybe it's MS' fault ... he has written a very brilliant and extensive text (calling it extensive is an over-domestication) on the absolute futility but at the same time inevitability of such a hatred. This text is only a tiny piece of his work; and I think it might be the cause of such misunderstandings.

anyway, hatred offers a distraction from your despair. That's the whole point of racism, for example: Hate other people so that you don't have to face up to your own self-loathing.

Again, I stress on the distraction process, you suggested. Who can judge such a distraction when someone experiences the absolute depth of despair in which survival is not only burnt but also evaporates without trace. If we call despair, a descent, a ride on 'cata-drone', then, we can consider hatred as a rate of the speed triggered by the dynamic and ungrounding upheaval of descent. However, the rate may change; it differentiates without warning. Reading most of MS' texts, I've finally realized (I'm a perfect moron in reading) that he is talking about a strange, auto-collapsing hatred which is devoid of any political or economical survival ... in the same vein, the fascism he is talking about is not of '-cracy' but of '-philia', liquidated by its wasteful bonds (see Death as a Perversion: Openness and Germinal Death),), his craving for a terminal hatred is an approach to A Good Meal: not only 'being open to' but also and especially 'being lacerated butchered and laid open'.

Of course, he, himself, is the best one who can diagram what he is talking about.

PS. Sorry for my tone in my previous post ('Don't try to re-cognize it; try to experience it') ... I mentioned it just as a remark on the 'experience' and 'despair'; it was not an advice or an imperative order or such a nonsense. Sorry.

Best,
Reza
