Recent name-simulations (check my recent posts), spoof attacks, satiric plays on identities, debates on authorship and the face all made me to expand the argument at my last post on the face and its authorial space (http://www.cold-me.net/mb/messages/211.html):


A New Face for a New People

It is not a liberating plan to question what is behind the face or (de)personifying a tenebrae anonymous to surface, or even passing through the face to see what lurks beneath (a void of effulgence?). Once we deviate from this political survival which has been embedded into any resistance toward the regime of faciality (this is the way that Survival Economy snuffs out any radical resistance: not by aggressively trying to survive but overcoding one’s resistance with survival, inspiring the resistance to survive), we encounter a multiplying question: where is behind the face? Where is the face? A question pinpointing the ambiguity of the face-location, the ambiguity of solid and hole (which puts this once mereotopological question in one’s mouth: where does the surface belong to?) so the regime of the White Wall / the Black Hole which delineates a fully authorial gaze of an overexposed faciality machine which is now rather obsolete. The face always looks for becoming more technologic in the sense of processing its reterritorialization (the cutting edges of its reterritorialization), not by masking itself but by radically degenerating the ‘coupling / coordinating/ demarcating’ forces of surfaces between the White Wall and the Black Hole.

A localized face does not exist. There is no locality in the face one can map or diagram. The face is always trans-localizing itself through the softening forces of slope processes (i.e. the constitutive lines of fluvial processes or the modes of solidus-in-circulation which empowers solidity by means of flux, exploring the post-industrial fertilizing machineries of solid within the flux) and their immense power for landscaping. Faciality narrates the ongoing activities of slope processes (the couplings of intensities as dX/dY appropriated as architectonic forces and landscaping processes [1]) radically disintegrating the face to a fully fluxional landscape, a face more powerful than ever, recovered from somewhat innocent (and always under the danger of being spotted) panorama of “white wall always expanding and the black hole functioning repeatedly” (D&G), turned into a river (fluvius) without a channel regime and bank, reinvented as a river-in-itself with no dead-end, no expressionistic climax, no suspected anti-liberating operation, no organizational despotism, all in the form of a flowing gradient of the white walls / black holes collapsed within each other by a miracle of hydromancy or more precisely the resisting forces against the faciality machine allied with each other to dismantle, disintegrate and weaken the face, to make fun of it, to pass straightly through it but attracted as soft architectonic forces, machines of fully flexible landscaping. Mess with the face and become a pimp of its phantom presence. This is why, deliberate or unintentional, the so-called liberating plays on face (from spoof attacks to name-simulations to satirical modes of ‘identity dismantling’ missions against authorial spaces) are highly resourceful for the pseudo-flux prostitution market of the new face, its phantom presence and river-ing landscapes ... here, one becomes a guardian, a propagandist of the new FACE and its survival economy, simultaneously a formidable war-machine launched by post-industrial solidity and a cheap but efficient particle of the Pseudo-flux.

Wittfogel's hydraulic monopoly merely covers a trivial part of pseudo-flux and its militant distributions.
