Re: A morbid snack

Despair is one of those topics I've never talked about before (although I've indirectly hinted at this subject) since it touches me unlike anything else; it probes my experiences. I've tried many times, but the outcome has been silence and insomnia for months or sometimes, a hodgepodge of sentimental pieces. But this time, I'll give it another try, discussing this subject from Sadegh Hedayat's POV, the Iranian writer who committed suicide and his novella, The Blind Owl, has been claimed as the pioneer of Iranian modern literature. I don't possess his name because his book is inciting an immense despair or he has killed himself but just because he, for the first time, in Persian literature, diagramed the corrosive features of despair, released all the acid accumulated in the belly of the beast. I'll discuss more later (I'll be out for two days).

Thanks for what you just unleashed.
Reza
