Add boiling water gradually to the mixture while you are mixing it on low speed. Although the batter may be thin, it will help create a moist cake.
Share the batter evenly among the pans. Bake for 30-40 minutes in a preheated over or until the toothpick that you insert into the middle comes out completely clean. Halfway through the cooking process, rotate your pans to ensure an even cook.
